Two new restaurants in Portugal have received Michelin stars, whilst six other within the Algarve will keep their stars. This is the gist of the announcement that came out of this year Michelin gala ceremony in Madrid.

Ljubomir Stanisic and his restaurant 100 Maneiras received its first Michelin star. The other newcomer is Basque chef Eneko Atxa, whith his restaurant Eneko Lisboa.
Portugal has 28 Michelin-star restaurants, with seven boasting two stars and 21 with one.
